I uncovered no trace of an etch while carefully removing the rust from the blade and there is no stamp.

  • It takes heck of a good rhythm with the guy on the other end or it doesn't work out well.

  • Saws from the late 1940's and early 1950's had this medallion with sloppy execution.

  • The right medallion started appearing in 1845.
